In this business law case study assignment, we critically discuss the duties of an agent by referring to relevant case law in the area of agency law. We will further analyse the general and fiduciary duties of an agent such as i) the duty to follow the lawful and reasonable instructions of the principal, ii) the duty of care and skill,iii) the duty to avoid conflict of interest, iv) the duty to account, v) the duty not to delegate authority etc. By the end of the assignment case study, students will be able to apply relevant case law in the area of agency law.
