A critical investigation into the effects of organizational culture on employees in China
This paper examines the impact of an employee’s culture on the way in which they work within an organizational context. The paper focuses on a case study of China. Its methodology is a literature review of the scholarly work on organizational culture. It concludes that the Chinese have a moderately higher score on power-distance, collectivism, uncertainty avoidance, as well as a more long term orientation compared to organizational cultures in countries like the UK or United States.
